Forest Connect China
Forest Connect China, implemented by Research Institute of Forestry Policy and Information, Chinese Academy of Forestry, focuses on both Bamboo products and timber forest products sector, and aims particularly at increasing the understanding of the sector through a comprehensive diagnostic study and increasing the visibility of SMFEs and their level of organisation and connectedness so that they can better access markets and service providers and have a voice in national forestry policies that affect their livelihoods.

Forest connect China focuses on a diagnostic study of SMFEs in China based on the literature review and field survey. The diagnostic study should help fill a gap in knowledge about SMFEs in China, identify key issues and provide useful information to decision makers, business and financial service providers etc.
